Drive Train Task List

How fast will the trucks go?

Given the engine RPM, transmission model number (for high gear ratio), the rear drive axle ratio (tag or number stamp on differential) and tire diameter or circumference you can compute the top speed of the trucks.

For the Freightliner?

For the Kenworth?

For the International?

For the Dodge?

Now, knowing what you know what 4 things could you do to increase or decrease the top speed. Be very specific about each and give examples.
